Everyday, two million people take off and land somewhere in America. Six hundred million passengers boarded a flight worldwide last year, and the number is expected to surpass a billion this decade. While the sky has no limits, the ground certainly does. As airports struggle to keep up with the pace, the anxiety of flying increases. Although flying remains the safest mode of transportation, thousands of times safer than car travel, there are no small air accidents. Most do - and may almost always - cost lives.
