[edit] Information
The world is running out of space when it comes to room for rubbish - and nowhere is this more true than the US, where thousands of landfill sites are reaching capacity. We visit Orange County in California, home to the ninth largest site in the US - part of an elite group that receive a million tons of waste every year. As many as 750 trucks queue up every day to deposit thousands of tons, but it's not as simple as dumping it all in the ground. At the site is an army of people using innovative technology to deal with the items before they are deposited.
